[RC] A horse's first competitive ride - Tx TriggerI've started some in NATRC, as I like the slower more controlled pace of all the riders, and started one with 50 mile rides at an XP. What I haven't done is start any with LD. If I want the shorter distance, and want the horse to get used to the camping, other horses on trail, I use the CTR. Just what works for me. There is on one way that will work for all horses and all riders.
