[RC] Hydration while Traveling - Lauren Horn

Since we are on the subjuect, I just heard something the other day that I never heard before. A girl I know will soon be shipping her dressage horse from the west coast to Virginia for the "young Olympics" dressage competition. She explained that her horse will have a tube inserted from it's nose to stomach and it will stay there the whole time they are traveling (at least 2 days straight through). The guy hauling will stop periodically to give the horse fluids through this tube. I guess that's one way to make sure your horse arrives hydrated after a lengthy trailer ride.
