[RC] ??? for everyone---riding places in KY - michelleI live in Northern KY. In Union, KY actually. We ride a lot at Versailles State park in Indiana. Actually, my husband and I just did a 7.5 mile loop this morning. But there are some much bigger loops. We live 30 minutes from downtown, Cinn. So lots of jobs in the area. 2 hours from Cave Run Lake, Derby Dash is there. 2 and a half hours from Bill Wilson's place- Chicken Chase, Top of the Rock, and Spook Run. Hour from the KY horse park, Pyramid Challenge is there. About 4 hours over into IN is Daddy's Day Dash at Hoosier National Forest. A few CTR's in OH. We have 2 Arabs. A friend of mine, who also does endurance and lives close by has a Shagya stallion and breeds half Shagya's half arabs for endurance. She's in Verona, KY. I've lived here 6 years. I like it. I've been down to the Big South fork ride in Sept. that's about a 6 hour drive though. But the rides are great, in the woods, beautiful places to ride. I've been looking for someone to ride with. I had to pull out my husband, whose not an endurance rider, not really a horse rider. He'd probably be thrilled if I could find some more friends that liked to ride. He says I go to fast!
