The only reason many of these wonderful places are
still intact and open to the public is because conservationists made an effort
to preserve them. I am so tired of being criticized as a "tree-hugger" that I
couldn't even bring myself to read the recent thread of posts. Given the
increasing threats to trail access, all of us who love being out there need to
work together and stop the divisive name-calling.
