[RC] Question for those who have pure clay paddocks. - Tracy Bradford

It's finally dry enough for us to make a decision about improving our
winter paddocks. They are situated on pure blue clay and it sure is
sticky and messy for about nine months out of the year. I did a
google search and found some Oregon websites recommending layers of
hog fuel over a clay paddock. Since I've never heard of this before I
was wondering if anyone has experience with it. The clay is now dry
and compacted and we are at a point to either put down road gravel
with a finer top coat or perhaps try the hog fuel route. My husband
is a bit learious of the hog fuel though...
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Tracy
