Re: [RC] Hauling other People's Horses - rides2farI am curious, how many people would have body work done on their own trailer if their horse kicked dents in it? Never on my own...and I've hauled other people's horses a TON with no ill feelings. LOVE the company just for splitting the gas. HOWEVER...when my neice bought an Exiss 3-horse I drove on its first outting, since she'd never driven anything bigger than a Honda Civic. Well...I creamed the fender first thing. Fortunately, I was so mad I didn't even need a crowbar. I pulled the fender out of the wheel myself. (have tried to move once since then and can't budge it). My brother said "Don't worry about it, we'll fix it after everybody is done hitting things". Well, we drove it like that for about 4 years until finally *Bill* hit a tree and bent the running board. That did it. He took the thing and got both injuries fixed. My neice sold her horse and left the trailer here for several years. Last time we used it Bill caught the fender on something again...not too bad. I pointed out to him that if we'd just go ahead and *buy* the thing from them he wouldn't have to admit he hit anything and NOBODY will know (ya'll won't tell I told...right?) So, I believe we're buying it....and I can guarantee you that once we do that fender will *never* be repaired!
