I've also never seen a ride where management supplied anything other then the 
'natural forage available at VC'... On the other hand, all of us riders end up 
providing a 'buffet of hays' - if your horse doesn't want his - and the horse 
next to him wants to 'switch piles'... we just do it..

Now, I'll feed a HAY at VC that my horse isn't used to - but I'd never feed a 
grain/mash/concentrate that they aren't used to.. Been told to many horrer 
stories about colics/metabolics because of that!
