[RC] The rack - Spottedracer

I currently own, train and ride a rather diverse collection of gaited mares... Two are actually reg. Half-apps!

As for the 'Rack' - what my Paso Fino does is in this 'family', The Tolt my Bay half-app does is in this 'family' (this is the gait she was in, while keeping up with the cantering/extended trottting lead group the first half of City Slickers LD)... The slow and medium 'true rack' my Rocky Mountain Appy: Bright Ginger does during 50's is in this family.... And the 'extended low-kneed' gait my daughter's 13hh SSpony does - and keeps up just fine with my Bay mare...... These four perform the 'rack family' so differently, they look like they're performing completly different gaits!

But I can reg. all four with the Racking Horse Association - and show them in 'speed flatshod racking' without question by the judges... (heck, my good friend is a commish and judge! And gives me training advice when asked...)
