I just received a new book today called ?Equine Podiatry?.  It is written by Andrea Floyd and Richard Mansmann.  The first 1/3 of the book is an in depth of hoof anatomy.  The last 1/5 of the book deals with practical application of shoeing/trimming and how to create a ?hoof care team?.  The middle parts deal with all sorts of pathologies including a huge section dedicated to laminitis. 

 

It?s the most thorough, well illustrated anatomy book I?ve seen yet (and my hoof/distal limb library is pretty huge).
