My Casino is a qh/arab mix and I too love that cross. Morgan/arab and 
qh/arab are my 2 favorites *types* of horse. Casino isn't as heavily 
muscular (actually looks old style Morgan) as my moms cow bred qh but man 
you put him on a mountain and hang on. With his push power he will go up and 
over anything no matter how steep, and all this carrying 250+ lbs. I think 
the originals of every breed are quite beautiful but that the years of 
showring activity have ruined a lot of them. As pointed out, 1400lb horses 
with size 00 feet that get out of breath just walking across the pasture are 
not attractive, at least not to me. I want a horse that I can use and use 
hard when needed. Not one I have to wrap in cotton and set on a shelf to 
look pretty. Thats what Lenox is for.
