[RC] Loose horses and finding their owners - Kristi Schaaf

Washoe County Animal Control Officer Cynthia Doak
found two loose saddle horses wandering down Jumbo
Grade Road this afternoon June 16 around 3
p.m. Both are sorrels - one mare one gelding. Neither
had any tack on, but both showed signs of recent a
recent saddle ride. One had black boots on the front
legs.

The above nightmare is the reason why I braid a small
dog tag (with cell phone and home #'s) into my horse's
mane when traveling, camping and riding. I used to put
it on his tack, but someone (Jonni, I think?)
suggested putting it on the HORSE, and the above is a
perfect example why that's a great idea.

Life's a journey, so enjoy the ride (and try not to fall off)
