[RC] OD horse with 6 starts 6 finishes Jeb Stuart - rides2farI think it's time to point out an impressive Old Dominion Record. Just a clarification. I meant "Jeb's *personal* Old Dominion Record". That's not an overall OD record. I know a QH has the most Tevis completions. Anybody want to tell what horse has the most OD's? As long as I've posted I'll point out an "upcoming star". Joni Buttram's Cash Pony hit 1000 miles Saturday with his completion. In the last 13 months he has completed the OD trail 3 for 3 times. His first 1000 career miles includes 5 one day 100's...and he's absolutely *rotten*. >g< I think I may have to find one that's as unpleasant to deal with as Cash Pony to want to do the OD rocks that many times. My theory is that somebody finds a mean little snot but he's good at endurance, but they secretly wish they had a reason to get a different horse...so they just keep doing this trail trying to wear him out. I'm guessing that's the only reason Joel agreed to haul them that far...to try and do Cash Pony in. >eg< By the way, at the final trot out Cash *very intentionally* put his hoof right on top of Joel's boot, put all his weight on it and just ground his toe on him. It left a mark on the boot.
