That is a just plain stupid policy and not one to assist the horses, which I THOUGHT was supposed to be of primary importance. Shall I gather from this email that this is yet another idiotic idea from another group whose goals are NOT THE SAME as AERC's? S Not necessarily. We may all be jumping to conclusions. It may be an idea that a vet came up with, for some reason thought, "That would be a good idea" and with any luck may decide, oops, it wasn't. I go by the assumption that anybody else doing this sport probably likes it a lot too and does most of what they do with good intentions. I do like to debate with them though when I think they're wrong and unless they can convince me otherwises *hope* that only the best ideas become "traditions".
