Re: [RC] Protecting vet cards - Truman Prevatt

Wet, dry, cold or hot I always keep my card in a plastic bag - as I expect most riders in this region do - and the only time it is
open to the environment is when it is out to be given to a timer, a PR person, vet scribe, etc.

The only times I remember when I could not keep my card dry was in a driving rain.

Well actually I always keep mine in a plastic bag in my front tack because when I scoop or hose water on my horse's neck to cool them down, the tack tends to get wet. I've had unprotected cards turn to mush this way. Especially when I forget to close the tack bag.

It works for me anyway.
