Bought him despite not thinking much of his personality, and despite a so-so test ride, just 'cause I thought he was built nice and would have a good resale value compared to what I would be paying. (Yesterday I met someone who didn't want a mare or a chestnut or anything over 15 hh, but ended up w/ a 15.3 chestnut mare whom she adores x 9y) Did you get a seasoned horse or put the miles on h/h yourself? What kind of evaluation did you get besides a pre-purchase vet exam? Did you get, like, a 30-day free home trial? Mistakes to avoid?? Other advice and warnings?? Thanks.
