Re: [RC] Black bears and rabies - D'Arcy Demianoff-Thompson

Well that is what I thought might be happening. One
of the wild turkeys that come through brought five
babies with her this morning. :) They are just the
cutest things. I was surprised that the numbers were
so low. Last year the Mom Turkeys were bringing
through a dozen or more at a time. The Tom Turkeys
that were numbering in the 15 range are down to 4 :(

The deer that number in the 40+ for the area have
dwindled to around 10. We have one that stays on the
property. We have named her Chloe. She never leaves
with the other three that sleep in the back 10 acres.
They leave in the morning, nap in the afternoon, and
leave again late afternoon. She just hangs out in the
back. It's really very odd. Anyway, thank you, for
the back up information Louise.
