I’m fairly sure of the following but won’t guarantee
accuracy…: included in the top ten on day one was Dale Peterson on Rambo,
Ann Hall riding Bogus Thunder to BC, Linda Boisa on Sequoia, Hal Hall. On day 2
some of the top ten were Ruth Waltenspeil, Ann & Hal
Hall, Dale Peterson’s Rambo was BC. I wasn’t there on day 3.
I know there were few pulls and no treatments on days 1 & 2. The
trails were well marked, & there were some great new sections of trail this
year, one of which I even helped to build with other members of the Gold
Country Trails Council. It was pretty neat riding down the long switchbacks
& seeing the final product. The weather was great…last year we rode
in the snow, hail & rain.
As always, the staff & volunteers were wonderful!
