RE: [RC] rude riders and rules - Linda Mirams


I know that I tended to think of the show Steward as a kind of
"cop."  He was there to make sure people followed the rules.
If people were violating the rules, you could run and tell him
and he'd make them stop.  If he saw rule violations himself,
he was duty bound to march right up to the people and order
them to stop.  If they didn't, he could fine them, disqualify
them from further participation in the show, take their ribbons
away, even order them off the grounds.  If he saw show management
itself violating the rules, or the judges, or anybody, he
could and should step in and MAKE IT RIGHT.

Boy was I naive...and completley wrong.

They are alot more like United Nations fair election observers.
