RE: [RC] [RC] Refusing Entry - Ranelle Rubin

Check out the XP site and see how the Duck deals with this..it is quite amusing!

IMO, RM's work too hard to make this sport available to us. They shouldn't have to put up with this kind of %^&#!

Remember to thank your RM everytime!! I love to find them on my way out of camp and thank them..they are tired, both mentally and physically..and need the words of appreciation!

Actually, ride managers don't have to deny entry to participants they
don't want at their rides, they can just make it cost prohibitive.
There is nothing in the AERC's rules that says ride managers cannot
price discriminate (charge different amounts to different entrants) on
their ride entry fees. Ride managers do this all the time by giving
discounts/free entries to early entrants, junior, ride managers, ride
helpers, etc.

If you don't want somebody to come to your ride, just tell them that
"for riders determined to be rude and abusive to ride management, the
entry fee is $1000." And then, if they DO show up anyway, at least you
have been paid $1000 for putting up with them.
