[RC] Intake vs output - D'Arcy Demianoff-Thompson

Thank you, Duncan, for your replay.  It makes a lot of sense.  I am not a 
proponate of blanketing or clipping horses.  I would think that the blanketed 
horses might take in more water given the heat that is generated under those 
blankets.   One the same token that would also increase output.  Therefore, I 
would think their potassium levels would be affected and have need of 
electrolytes.  So, I am not really understanding why the rugged horses would 
not be as sensitive to the need for electrolytes as unrugged horses.  Maybe I 
need to go back to chemistry and physics class.  :)
