He was 20 YO when I got him, but looked 30 or more when he stepped off the shipping van. He wasn't as bad as your girl, but was a mess. Weight taped at 740.
My broodmares are rescues too. They went a full year without hay when I got them. they looked kinda like your girl. Amazing what some groceries and tlc will do for them.
