[RC] Biodiesel & Gas - Kelly LaneFriend of mine has a 97 Ford F250 diesel she converted to 100% vegetable oil last year. Runs like a top, was easy to convert and she gets the fuel from local restaurants. Oh, and smells better than the pure diesel she was using. There are biodiesel stations in our area with various percentage blends. I think some of our city fleets are running on it. I haven't converted because I only use the big truck for hauling and not sure I could find reliable and plentiful sources on the road. There seems to be more suppliers everytime I look however. http://www.biodiesel.org/buyingbiodiesel/retailfuelingsites/ The rising cost of fuel will affect how many and which rides I attend this year. Not that the rising costs are a bad thing. Should help the jumpstart to alternative fuels and sources.
