I am just amazed at where this sport is going..

..think I will just go do a training ride on the Tevis trail...and dream about where it all began...there is a quiet peace that comes into one's soul when you climb the hill into Michigan Bluff..and think of all the great horses and riders who have arrived there...hmmm

..come on out..ride, really ride!

My condolences also go to Nik. He's worked long and hard to support
endurance in his country. I think the FEI has several motives. One of
them is image. They don't want tons of horses on IV's at the WEC. They
don't want dead horses at the WEC. They what any horse that comes to be
able to get the snot run out of then and remain standing. They have
their image to protect, eh?  Let the horses get the snot run out of them
someplace else and it won't be their problem.
