RE: [RC] [AERCMembersForum] [Endurance Riding: News] FEI CoC for 2008 WEC - 10:40 and 12 months! - Katrina Mosshammer

I'm curious why they are doing this? Do they think it will weed out the "less fit".

What's more likely to happen is that those that are "marginal" that have been able to get by so far will have to speed up and push those marginal horses and possibly push them over the edge. Or they may get by with it once and think they can do it again and end up crashing when they try again. I don't think this is a beneficial decision.

>>>From the Endurance.Net news stream - A 10 hour 40min CoC for
Malaysia WEC!

Are they going to add a "U" to the letters FEI? >eg<

Does this mean no horse from Malaysia will get their COC for their
own event? Will they have to ship them somewhere with a faster course
to get it? Will that time requirement be in effect at Biltmore?

Watching the whole international scene self destruct is like watching
a train wreck in slow motion. Who the heck is driving?
