[RC] grip easy boots - Kathleen A. Crothers

I was thinking of trying the new grip easy boots on some muddy rides and was
wondering if you had to get a horse used to them before doing a ride. I
normally ride with easy boots over aluminum shoes on rocky rides since my horse
has flat soles and don't want to risk a stone bruise. I don't have any mud
where I live to get him used to wearing the grips but the next ride I go to
will have rocks and also will probably be muddy. I tried the grips on him and
they seemed a little looser than the same size easy boot was. I wonder why
this would be? I used the same back strap on the grip as I used on the regular
easy boot. Thanks for the info on the grips. Happy Trails, Kathy Crothers
