They will work fine. Just be sure to consider
that a box that rises above the bed rails may restrict your vision (they can
cause a blindspot--particularly with extended cab/crewcab trucks.)
Boxes that rise no higher than bed rail level are
available.
I am thinking of getting one of those boxes
that fit in the front of the bed of the truck - like construction workers
have. It would hold so much stuff. Anyway, does this work if I
am pulling a gooseneck?
