[RC] PS 100 Mile Website - updated - FXLivestock

This is just a note to let you know that the 100 mile website information has been updated.  The information was taken off the AERC horse data base in March and does NOT include results from Cuyama Pioneer or Main Divide 100. Included in this update are the 2006 Award winners.  I would like to thank Angie McGee and Jackie Floyd for their sponsorhip contribution. The PS 100 mile program has added two new recognition awards in 2007:  Award of Excellence (1,000 miles of one day 100s) and the Triple Crown Award (completion of three designated 100s in a single ride season).

In 2006, we had six new 100 mile riders complete their first 100 and seven horses complete their first 100.  Three of the six first time 100 mile riders went on to complete at least one more 100 mile ride in 2006.

If you have horses registered in the program check out the updates,  the information on team awards program sponsored by PS International Endurance Inc.,  and the tentative 2008 Triple Crown schedule.  If you are a West or Pacific Southwest region member and would like to be part of the 100 mile recognition program registration information is available on the website.  There is also sponsorship information available on the website.  This program is not supported by a regional club or national organization but by individuals and businesses wanting to promote the 100 mile distance and honor horses and riders competing at that distance.  We welcome any and all contributions to this program.

The website address is: www.100mileriders.com.  Send any corrections to fxlivestock@xxxxxxx (fxlivestock at aol.com).  Be sure to indicate 100 mile program somwhere the subject line so your email is not deleted or filed by accident.  This e mail is being sent to So Cal endurance and ridecamp lists.  Please feel free to forward this to any other endurance lists that might have members interersted in this information.
