Re: [RC] Fuel costs - Mike Lewis

Gotta love the oil market.

Looking into carpooling. Would be nice to "hub" folks with large trailers
who are willing to haul horses, so several folks with smaller trailers
could meet up with them at a certain point, then divvy up expenses for the
remainder of the journey.

We need hydrogen powered trucks... I don't foresee electric trucks
hauling what we haul...

With diesel now approaching $3 per gallon again, what is everybody doing
to
trim their costs in other areas (at least those that aren't so well-off

money does matter.....)?

Me, I'm only doing multi-day rides where I can ride both of my horses
and
only haul one time.... (Granted it costs me approx. $500 every time I
cancel my
Sat load of riding lessons - So each ride costs me almost a grand....
wew!
Yep, very expensive sport!)
