Exactly why I buy all my boots from EasyCare direct ... it would be nice if everyone gave a company the respect they deserve for the countless hours of research and development in coming up with a product that other people can sell. And service it to boot (uh, no pun intended).

Customer service, product development etc. is worth something to some of us, and that is maybe why some have NO problem spending a little more to buy direct if desired.
