Re: [RC] Still don't get it - Lynne Glazer

Bob, you go on and on about vendors here--it seems as if you're trying to foment discontent.? I think that Easy Care has carefully analyzed their channel marketing--do you know what channel marketing is?? and the decision process for whether to deal direct or not?? And how to incentivize resellers, and develop expertise in the product?? Karen's already said that they sell at retail.? Why would you still want to buy from Easy Care?? Easy!? Expertise in the products.? PRODUCTS.? More than one that might fit the bill.? One-stop shopping, questions, answers and purchase.? Done.? Easy Boot sellers are not one trick ponies, they have a full line of products and probably don't begrudge the corporate sales, if properly incentivized.

Please read, and we'll discuss, if you still think that this company is not following sound marketing principles.

I still don't get why easy care will still continue to sell direct.? The easy care rep mentioned that in the beginning they sold direct first before they had dealers.? Haven't they grown past that? They say that?they are?below the retrailers price, I still want to know what is the point, it still comes across as greedy and double dipping. Why would you want to buy from easy care if you know you are spending more?
?
If I needed an easy care product, I would only by from an online vendor or from my local tack store on pure principal alone.
Again, IMHO.
