RE: [RC] do gooders--dogs..."good fences make good neighbors" - Mary Krauss

Irrelevant to the intent of the poster, but I want to point out that Frost's poem was written AGAINST the notion of "good fences make good neighbors." The phrase in the poem is repeated endlessly by the old farmer in reply to the poet's notion that they might cooperate and communicate rather than build fences between one another. Having said that, the old farmer in the poem had no dog complaints.... :-)
