Yes I know that I can upgrade to the epics and using the gaitors. That
wasn't the point of my post. I am going to be getting the epics. Just started
barefoot with my gelding and only experimenting with easy boots.
I thought I'd let everyone know how well they worked without the Gaitors!

I thought it was pretty amazing that they stayed on 9 miles straight of
deep slick mud! And this was 45 laps of going over the same muddy, goopy, trail!
My point was the easy boots must have been improving much every year!
The brand new ones are slit on the side so I'm assuming that makes a more
contoured fit perhaps.
And I thought maybe they would've loosened up a little bit but it was
pretty tough getting them off! I didn't use any vet wrap or anything
either. I would've rode 10-15 miles but I was wearing jeans and my legs
were burning!
