[RC] Booties - rides2far

Where is the best place to get some booties made for an Ortho-Flex? I've
switched to pads but for some reason Josie's saddle eats pads and they
just won't stay in place. She drives me insane constantly wanting to
reposition a pad so she's gotta have booties.

We've never had sheepskin, but if they're *that* much better we'd
consider it. I've noticed that the little rim of dirt wicks out to the
very edge of my pad. That's OK since it's not under the weight bearing
area. On the booties the dirt wicks to the edge and that's under the
weight bearing area. I'd love to have the booties made where they stuck
out a tad farther for that reason. Anybody ever tried that? Anybody ever
made your own? Know where to get *good, thick* sheepskin? Has anybody
ever had their old booties "retreaded" just replacing the part next to
the horse?

Angie (who's had great training rides all week! :-)
