Re: [RC] selling horses take II - rides2far

Cash Pony was starved, untrimmed, unbroke, still a stallion and
little. That was nearly two years ago.> > Cash Pony finished his

I rest my case. Cash & Joni are the perfect match. Where else could you
have found someone as small as her who could handle a pistol like him and
would actually be *happy* that he was still enough of a snot to act up at
his completion trot out after the OD? He's worth a gold mine to you.
He's not worth much to the parents of a timid kid who wants to get him
out of a stall once a week to go in a circle. Getting him in the right
hands was the trick.

Josie had a 14 hand registered Welsh pony that we raised from 5 months
old till he was 11. He never did us a bit of good. He didn't like trail
riding. Was no fun to ride around playing since he didn't mind throwing a
buck at all. I sold him to a woman in Atlanta. She's a good jumping
trainer with a talented daughter who loves riding this pony. This is the
post she sent me this week. If Joni had this pony and they had Cash,
Nobody would have lived happily ever after. >g< Remember...this pony was
*not* good to us....

We went to our first show of the season this past
weekend at Conyers at the Georgia International Horse
Park. Stanley ended up Grand Champion Pony Hunter,
with three championships and one reserve championship
himself, and he carried Victoria to the 12-14
Equitation Champion the second day (he was a little
monster in the indoor ring the first day and stopped
dead in the middle of his over fences warm up, but by
day two he was perfect), she won the GHJA Pony Medal,
which makes her 1/2 way qualified for the finals this
year (you remember the drama in November!). They also
won the Marshall & Sterling Pony Medal. If she
qualifies for that one, the final is up in Saugerties,
New York in the fall.

He continues to live up to his title "Pony Of The
World"! At least in our hearts! Here is a link to
pictures of him from the weekend if you'd like to take
a look:
