Maggy Price “Each One Add One” Membership Drive

Program:  AERC is initiating a membership drive to grow membership and to honor Maggy Price, past AERC President, who led the vigorous growth of AERC during her three years as President in the early ‘90s and who recently died after a long battle with cancer.  The funds for the program are coming from memorial donations for Maggy (see obituary).  People wishing to donate should contact the office.

Background:  Maggy initiated an “Each One, Add One” membership drive so that each current AERC member who brought in a new member received a bumper sticker that said “I Got Mine” with the AERC logo.  

Each AERC member who brings in a new full AERC membership after March 1, 2007 and before March 1, 2008, will receive a bumper sticker that says “I Got Mine” and has the AERC Logo on it.  The first 50 members who bring in a new member will also receive a copy of Julie Suhr’s book, Ten Feet Tall Still or Angie McGhee’s, Lighter Side of Endurance  (recipient’s choice).   Depending on the availability of funds, the number of people receiving books may be increased at the discretion of the Membership Marketing Committee.

For purposes of this program, a new member is defined as somebody who has not ever been a regular member of AERC before.   For a member to claim the bumper sticker and the book (if still available), they must notify the office of the name of the new member.  Each member can claim the book once.  Members may receive multiple bumper stickers for bringing in multiple members.  Members who bring in a new member should notify the office of the name of the new member they recruited via a phone call 1-530-823-2260, email to the aerc@xxxxxxxxxxxx, or via letter, AERC, PO 6027,Auburn, CA, 95604, Attn:  Maggy Price Membership Drive.
