[RC] vet check questions - Tx Trigger

Also consider if your crew bag will be hauled to a vet check by  a ride management volunteer, or if your own crew will be taking it. If management takes it, be considerate of the weight. A big ol baggie of wet beet pulp can really add to the weight of a crew bag. Your own crew dealing with it is much different than a volunteer who has to lift and move your crew bag, and a truck load of everyone else's.

Take the shredded beet pulp, and it soaks up really fast. The pelleted kind can take a lot longer. If you use pelleted, you can do a partial soak, which will start to break down the pellets. Then add more water when you arrive at the check, and it will absorb the water quickly.
