RE: [RC] [RC] Responses on Specialized Saddles - Ranelle RubinLuci,That is what this list is all about..information! I have never ridden in a Specialized saddle, but know David and Tracy well. I do know several of David's saddles have been custom made for the horses Ann and Hal Hall shipped to Japan and it has worked well. David is a very knowledgeable man, and with his ability to customize these saddles, and with their history of completions, I would venture to guess you will be fine. Just remember you are putting a static object on a moving animal with any treed saddle. This method has worked for many horses for many years, so I can't sit here and say treeless is the only way. I can say I notice a huge difference in how my horses move with a treeless saddle. Of the treeless saddles I have ridden, I personally chose the Freeform. I like the support it gives, and of the treeless saddles it is my opinion it protects the horses's back the most. As always, HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU....AND MAY WE MEET AGAIN.....gone riding....
