[RC] Finished/ Fit to Continue - Steve

Mike: I may feel you're wrong here if any horse is treated at any ride after
the Finish line, there is no Completion
Tevis for one for sure if you're treated at the event and say finished top
ten, you can not show for best condition. I'm not sure if you even get a
completion but the Rule is Fit to Continue.

Fit to Continue does not feel the gap you are saying

Also not to forget the ones that die three days or so after a Endurance
ride Stress

Please clarify on this

Steve E.

In response to:"DQ if horse needs treatment within an hour of
finishing."

While many think this is true - it isn't.

If it were true - riders might withhold needed treatment to make that
1
hour so they get their completion.

Once a horse is given a completion - it cannot be withdrawn even if
the
horse is treated 20 seconds later.

Mike
