It was the year Johanna pulled at 80 miles on Bedouin, aka Tommy because she thought he was ouchy and the vets cleared her to go. Endurance rider extraordinaire. She and Judy are amazing. Daughter Jeanne is following right in their shoes.
Johanna took a drink at the Cosaquin (sp) Challenge. Scary accident. Maggie Price said it was the worst horse accident she ever saw.
Tom, your poetry is like no other. Something like Roses are red... tied in with "my feet stink". Only you could come up with that. By the way, you and Larry were like 2 angels coming out of some nowhere trail with watermelon for us. Thank you. I'd love to see the video you did of us trotting down that rode while you drove next to us.
Our crew was jitterbugging to no music, playing with dirty socks ("stinky sock puppet"), trying to find the dingo that stole their baby, hiding from gnats, etc. We had FUN!!! MY hubby and I remain intact and so do the VanMeter's.
