Re: [RC] Adding accessories to a saddle? - Jody Rogers-Buttram

I have a Wintec endurance that I use some, (but my heart is with my Orthoflex)  with the CAIR.  I use a Skito pad with it and it seems to work fine.  Just be careful with the CAIR panels and heat.  They tend to hold the heat in on the horse more (I have been told this, and I have found it out the hard way).  Can blister the back.

I have a Wintec dressage with CAIR that I would like to do some
modifications on so that it would serve me better on the trail. I would
like to put some rings on it that I could clip things to and maybe some
other modifications. What do you guys think would be most useful to add,
and do I need to worry about messing up the CAIR panels? I need to find a
good person to do the work and am unsure of where to start!

I also was wondering what a good pad would be for this type of saddle.
Right now I have a regular Toklat dressage pad, probably not the best for
extended trail riding.

Any and all advice on this would be most welcome. I love this saddle but
hate the lack of places to attach things to.

Thanks guys!
