I never could find a girth that would not cause galls on
Liya. Only thing that worked was center fire rigging. My junior has
been riding her and uses a regular English mohair girth. The
secret.......she does not tighten her girth and I used to make mine really
tight. I used $20 girths and $100 girths and it made no difference.
Mohair, neoprene, Wintec waffle, fuzzy, everything. The only thing we can
figure is that the girth is looser now.
