That's similar to what I want to do when I (someday) build a barn.  I have
gotten lots of advice, though, that recommmends a 16' aisle.  I think it was
for safety when horses are on crossties?

The only other thing I'd definitely add is that you should put doors on the
outside of both those stalls.  Even if they don't lead to the pasture as run-in
stalls, they're important in case of a fire so you don't have to go IN the barn
to rescue your horses.  (Obviously they should latch from the outside.)
