Hi Andra, if your Arab has a truly Yak-like coat,
heavier than the average winter coat, you might want
to be sure you're up on early signs and symptoms of
Cushings/insulin resistance.  If your horse is of the
"air fern" variety (super easy keeper), he's the most
common body type at risk. It's usually quite
manageable when caught early, less so later on.
