RE: [RC] EN Drug Test Fee-to vet committee - Steph Teeterthis is great news! (except for Angie's math skills :) - now, as a ride manager, I wouldn't have to worry about raising ride entries $1 for the new AERC rider fee (yes, the hassle of having all those $1 bills around to give folks correct change if I raise the ride entry to $81 and they pay by cash). This way fees would go up by a nice round $5 and voila, no more messy $1 bills. (assuming we're not pricing ourselves right out of business...) Steph p.s. for the record, I am totally totally opposed to anther hike in AERC fees which are collected by ride managers. It would be much more reasonable to control and/or re-apportion the AERC budget spending then keep asking for more fees (taxes?) to cover new spending requests. If you absolutely must raise more money, then raise the annual dues. And if you change the family and veterinary annual dues to be more in line with regular membership, well, there's a little chunk of cash to spend right there.
