I write a story and say, "read this and see what you think". Then I watch his eyes hoping for a sign something's funny. He reads along *very* meticulously, sooo slowly, then adds a comma or a missing letter. I say, "Don't PROOF it, just get the idea and see if it's working! He can't do it, he has to correct as he goes (I'll loan him to ya sometime Truman >g<) We listed him as the editor and he wanted his name taken off. He said it should say, "Corrections suggested by Bill McGhee. Overruled by Angie McGhee". I know he at least registered some of it in his brain, because when we leave for a ride he asks if I'm bringing anything to eat besides bread sandwiches.
