Many speed TB's and QH are built a smidge downhill.  Some references claim that this makes them faster. 
 
Anyway, I had a speed QH built that way.  Except for the stifle injury that ended his life, he never took a lame step.  I used him hard on the trail and in Endurance.
 
Bottom line:  Slightly down hill would not bother me as much as a lot of other things.  Wendy claims I only see feet, and legs when looking at a horse.
 
I claim she only sees the head, and I don't ride the head.
