Hi Kathy,

Last winter my husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Mike and Allison Walstad.  They were just finishing up a three year camping trip with their two mules and one quarterhorse and were about to publish a book on where to camp out west for free (BLM areas, State Forests and Federal Land).  I think they said they would advertise the book for sale in Mules and More magazine.  Perhaps someone on this list has a copy and would know of the book?  Allison writes freelance articles for the magazine as well as for Western Mule mag.  They claimed the book would be in-depth and describe some of the access roads to remote areas.
