Truman is right in general, but I think a bit pessimistic. My current deep cycle (made as a store brand by Gould I think), have lasted through 5 seasons, including round trips to MT from MN etc. Of course this means that somewhere between here and Phoeniz AZ in Feb they will die. I just looked up Truman's reference. This is the design I have seen at about 2x the price. I may try them next time if I am feeling flush.
