RE: [RC] Eliminating the risk of pregnancy in mares - heidi

Mandatory???  Or just commonly done?  I admittedly have only worked at one race track, and it certainly wasn't mandatory there--nonetheless, it was something that trainers repeatedly demanded and vets raked in the bucks for doing.  Mandatory and common are not the same thing.

Whether it works or not it is mandatory at most race
tracks.
