[RC] choosing boots - Tara M Sheppard

Nicola,
I went ahead and had my horse shod on the hind and trimmed in the front.
Reason being was that it took me way too long to boot up all 4. Also I
was
exhausted by the time I did all 4 hooves. I have the Easyboot Epics and
love
them. They really do stay on! Plus, if your horse is pulling front shoes
off in the
mud- He won't anymore being barefoot in the front. This has worked out
nicely
for me.No more torn up hooves from shoe nails, since they carry 3/4 of
their
weight on the front end, I like the idea of a more concussive, rubber
type of
protection on the front end. Good Luck! Tara
